Expanding International Development Cooperation and Capacity Building

In 2013, Dr. Choi founded the Institute for International Development Cooperation (IIDC) to globalize Korea’s development experience. Under his leadership:

IIDC has trained over 4,000 government officials and community leaders from over 50 countries in sustainable development, poverty reduction, and governance reform.

His collaborations with the UN, WFP, KOICA, and national governments have resulted in long-term partnerships promoting grassroots-led development strategies.
